"New Melody Everyday of the Year" (035). Gavotte (W.A. Mozart). "Excelsior" Baltic International Accordion Quintet
What you say about
classical music on the accordion? The accordion is still too young a
musical instrument. Therefore, classical composers could not compose for
this instrument. Only in the late nineteenth-century composers drew
attention to the harmonica (an instrument related to the accordion).
That is why modern accordionists play classical music arranged for
accordion. Listen to "Gavotte" from the ballet music to the Opera
"Idomeneo" W. A. Mozart performed by the Baltic international quintet
"Excelsior".
